| Comments: | for the last 17 years i have been throwing darts in the gcda the first time i threw against you was at the choo-choo(not sure of the year) but it was in the doubles 501 your partner was wit whitley my partner was steve askew we went all three legs down to the last double and we proudly took the lost. the last time we meet was once again at the choo-choo in the doubles cricket don yates was my partner once again we took the lost proudly, all dart players need to have the atitude as you win or loose you are the best. (i have made a promise to myself if i ever win any event i will buy a set of your darts,mike owens let me barrow a set on league night once and i loved them)hope to see you in nashville,and keep on winning. |

| Comments: | Nice site best of luck with it. I am new to darts but as a former basketball player I enjoyed, and have used the free throw analogy but for me its more like shooting a three. I am a media/advertising consultant by profession and am currently helping a fellow Philly darter, Bill Davis, to try and locate sponsors- my current challenge is getting the local sports media to get beyond the stereotypes that they have about darts and dart players and focus on darts as a sport. I hope that the WSOD on ESPN creates a buzz outside of exising dart circles but my fear is that the broadcast will be long on flash (fist-pumping, "Mardle"esque behavior) and short on substance. My question is how do class acts like yourself and Bill attract sponsors? Do you forsee a day in the near future when someone with your skills can earn a living in the US?
